“Empower Community care is a day centre which puts the service user’s at the heart of what they do. Each individual who attends the centre have their needs met in a caring and compassionate way. Their respect and dignity is promoted at all times. Advancing and promoting their independence is integral to what the centre is about. All the staff have a good understanding of the needs of the service users who use the centre.

Most of the challenges a service user will face prior to attending is well taken care off. Transport is provided and the service users are offered well balanced and nutritious hot meals. The environment is warm and friendly.

Each staff I have encountered goes an extra mile for the service users. The people I know  who attend the centre always look forward to going and will literally run into the building for their morning tea and socialise with friends.
